I have lived in many countries, including conflict zones. This has given me some understanding of a diversity of cultures and religious beliefs, and as a consequence I have a lot of experience with the various stresses and strains that can afflict people.
The clients I have seen range in age from 20 to 82. I feel that counselling should be available to all, regardless of gender, gender identity or sexuality.
I trained at London Marriage Guidance. I have a Diploma in Psychodynamic Marital and Couple Counselling from LMG, validated by the University of Surrey Roehampton (a BACP accredited course). LMG was taken over by the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships. I worked at the Tavistock Centre before going into Private Practice. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
TCCR is now known as Tavistock Relationships.
For 10 years I was also a Relate Licensed Counsellor.
I am a member of a Relationship Counselling London
I have a Criminal Records Bureau (now Disclosure and Barring Service) check cleared at the Enhanced disclosure level.
